1. Who we are
isurvix provides Moneta and is the data controller for personal data described in this notice. Contact us at hello@moneta.app.
2. Data we collect and why
- Account data, such as your name, email address, login identifiers and authentication records, to create and secure your account and perform our contract with you.
- Finance data you provide, such as accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, currencies, commitments, imported records and optional receipts, to provide the service under our contract with you.
- Support communications to answer requests and resolve problems, based on our contract and legitimate interests in customer support.
- Usage, device and technical data, such as browser type, device identifiers, IP address, logs and diagnostics, to secure, maintain and improve Moneta, based on our legitimate interests.
- Marketing preferences, if you choose to receive marketing, based on your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Where the law requires it, we also process data to meet legal obligations. Payment card and billing data is collected and controlled by Paddle under its own privacy notice rather than by Moneta.
3. Local and cloud data
Moneta can keep selected finance information and agent conversation history on your device for offline use. Signed-in finance data may also synchronize with our cloud service so you can restore or use it across devices. Device-only agent conversations are not synchronized unless a future feature clearly asks for your permission.
4. Who receives data
We share data only as needed with hosting, storage, authentication, analytics and customer-support providers; professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants; and public authorities when required by law. Paddle is our Merchant of Record and receives information needed for product sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, cancellations and refunds.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country, the UK or the EEA. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or approved standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We retain account and finance data while your account is active and for as long afterward as needed for legal, security, dispute and accounting purposes. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed. Local device data remains until you clear it, remove the app or use an available deletion control.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. UK and EEA users may complain to their local supervisory authority; we aim to respond to valid requests within one month. Contact hello@moneta.app to exercise a right.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and account authentication. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies and local storage
Moneta uses essential cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, offline operation and saved device data. We do not use marketing cookies unless we first provide a choice where required. You can manage cookies in your browser, but blocking essential storage may prevent the app from working.
10. Changes
We may update this notice as Moneta changes. We will post the revised notice here and update its effective date.
